From the football pitch to the world of men’s underwear, Italian football icon Claudio Marchisio proves that confidence, discipline, and masculine appeal only get better with age.

Some men never lose their competitive edge. Claudio Marchisio, the former Italian professional footballer, brings his athletic physique, effortless Italian charm, and unmistakable confidence to IUMAN’s Fall/Winter 2026 underwear campaign, photographed by Mattia Guolo.
At 40, Marchisio embodies a generation of men who understand that looking good isn’t necessarily about looking younger. It’s about staying active, embracing maturity, and knowing exactly what works for you.

From Juventus Legend to Underwear Campaign Star
Born on January 19, 1986, in Turin, Italy, Claudio Marchisio spent the majority of his professional football career playing for Juventus, becoming one of the club’s most recognizable midfielders.

Nicknamed Il Principino (The Little Prince), Marchisio was celebrated for his technical ability, intelligence on the pitch, and composed playing style.
A former Italian international, he represented his country at the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups and helped Italy reach the final of UEFA Euro 2012.

After winning seven consecutive Serie A titles with Juventus, Marchisio continued his career at Zenit Saint Petersburg before retiring from professional football in 2019.
Away from the pitch, he is a husband and father of two sons, Davide and Leonardo.
The IUMAN FW 2026 Campaign

For IUMAN’s latest underwear campaign, photographer Mattia Guolo captures Marchisio in a setting that feels particularly appropriate: a football stadium.
The campaign combines sportswear aesthetics with contemporary men’s underwear, presenting a series of intimate yet masculine portraits.

Marchisio appears in fitted white T-shirts, cotton boxer briefs, and burgundy underwear, alternating between relaxed poses in the stadium seating and athletic moments on the football pitch.
His tattooed arms, naturally athletic build, defined torso, and rugged facial features bring character to the photographs.

One particularly striking image captures him sitting shirtless beside a football, wearing dark boxer briefs. Another shows him relaxing on the grass in burgundy underwear, suggesting that performance and comfort can coexist.

The photography balances sensuality with athletic authenticity. There’s no need for exaggerated poses or excessive styling. Marchisio’s confidence carries the campaign.
Performance Begins With Comfort
IUMAN introduces its Fall/Winter 2026 collection with the message:
“The perfect performance starts with the right choice.”
The collection highlights Pima cotton boxers featuring a double-layered pouch, natural stretch, a logo waistband, and a short, fitted silhouette.
The campaign connects the discipline of professional football with everyday essentials, suggesting that the same attention athletes give to their performance should extend to the clothes they wear underneath.
For Marchisio, the transition from professional athlete to fashion campaign personality feels natural.
At 40, his appeal comes from experience, confidence, and the kind of masculine presence that doesn’t disappear when the final whistle blows.
