There is no expiration date on wearing something daring.
In a new underwear shoot photographed by Renato Lazzaro, diëtz puts a mature male physique front and center, presenting its bikinis and thongs not as a novelty, but as legitimate options for men who want less fabric, a more defined silhouette, and the confidence to wear them.
For Hunks Over 40, that message feels particularly relevant. Men are often encouraged to become more conservative with age—especially when it comes to their bodies. This series takes the opposite approach: if you have spent years learning what works for your body, why should turning 40, 50, or beyond suddenly mean hiding it?
If You Dare to Wear It
Lazzaro’s clean studio photography leaves very little between the viewer and the product. Against a bright white background, the model is photographed from several straightforward angles in navy and vivid red styles.
And that simplicity works.
The photographs show an impressively maintained mature physique without trying to disguise age. There is gray in the hair and facial stubble, mature facial features, and a body that looks athletic, lean and defined. Strong shoulders, developed legs and sharply defined abdominals give the minimal underwear a powerful frame.
More importantly, the model looks comfortable wearing it.
That might be the strongest selling point here. A bikini or thong can initially feel like an intimidating proposition for someone accustomed to trunks or boxer briefs. On a mature man, however, the reduced silhouette can actually look remarkably sophisticated when the proportions and fit are right.
