Emblematic elements like the GG monogram and Web stripe are presented across trolleys, duffle bags, hat boxes, and other items in a past-meets-present moment reflective of the House’s continuing narrative in the world of travel.

Captured in a series of looks that showcase Gucci’s contemporary take on tailoring, Gosling embarks on a journey studded with arrivals and departures, ultimately stepping into a trunk on a never-ending pursuit of discovery.
Within the new Gucci Valigeria campaign, Ryan Gosling sets off on a journey in search of unexpected worlds, speaking to the House’s imaginative vision of travel and the inspiration it can bring. Speaking about how travel has impacted his life, he said, “I wouldn’t be where I am today without traveling. When I was younger I came to LA to find work, and I’ve been traveling all over the world ever since to do it. Eva and I even met on a plane. It’s influenced me more than anything else in my life.”
“Travel for Gucci was never purely physical. Gucci is the brand that accompanied the artists, writers, actors, and directors of Hollywood on their journeys… This is why I wanted the advertising campaign to recount a situationist dimension where the protagonist traverses a ‘non-place’ that is first and foremost a mental place, the same as those who, in the past and present, choose Gucci because they grasp the significance of creativity used to build imaginary places,” said Creative Director Alessandro Michele, who envisioned the new Gucci Valigeria campaign starring Ryan Gosling.
“Obviously the world keeps moving forward, whether I’m traveling or not. But I feel my life gain momentum when I travel with it,” said Ryan Gosling, who stars in the new Gucci Valigeria campaign – an exploration of the House’s vision of travel and the magical worlds and moments it can lead to. Gosling cites Italy as a particularly symbolic place in his own personal narrative, recalling his mother’s wedding there. “To bring everyone together in a country where family is at the center of everything, it was very meaningful,” he said.
