I’ve been using the Apple Fitness+ app since it launched last week. I managed to do eight workouts across different categories (some of the workouts were only 10 to 20 minutes long). I’ve been comparing it primarily to Peloton, both the bike and the mobile app.

I’d love to see the instructors let loose and not be so committed to Apple branding. Apple could put together the most sophisticated personal fitness experience on the market, but if there’s anything this new era of at-home fitness has shown us, it’s that human connection may go a lot farther. Even if it all has to happen on screens.
