Exploring the Enigmatic Allure of Actor Marc Buckner

In 2021, he ended his relationship with Marisia van Wyk (27), whom he encountered during the second season of The Bachelor SA. Their romantic alliance commenced when he presented her with his final rose on the widely acclaimed dating program.

They broke up after dating on-and-off for about two years but just as he was healing from the hurt, Marc was dealt another blow when his beloved dog Luna died earlier this year.

Now he wants to put the pain of the past two years behind him.  

“I decided to do modelling in Istanbul. I’ve probably done modelling five to six years ago.”

Marc won’t reveal if he’s dating anyone but admits he’s been taking better care of himself lately. “I turn 40 in December. You know, when you go out with someone younger, you start to realise that you have to look at yourself.”

He’s already started selling some of his property and cancelled his cellphone and gym contracts as he gets ready to travel.

“I also want to go to Germany for work and then visit friends in Greece and Italy. If I can get the passport, my future family will also be able to use it,” he says. 

He quickly stops himself from saying any more. “No, wait. We can’t talk about this right now. Maybe at a later stage,” he says.

Marc is super tight-lipped about his love life, but he’s totally cool with spilling the beans about himself.

With 41, December 2nd turns 42yo, he’s been making sweeping changes to his lifestyle so he can model and travel again.

“I grew my hair out because I craved change and I also started focusing on my body to take care of myself,” he tells us.

He recently started sharing photos of his body transformation on social media to motivate others who want to get in shape.

“Ya gotta know yourself, whether it’s in your heart or in your bod. If ya got a goal, go get it! You can totally work on yourself, ya know? Improve, learn some new stuff, or just get crazy passionate about somethin’. The world is yours, my friend!”

His goal right now is to take the modelling world by storm. “I want to be quite established before I have kids one day,” he says.

While he’s away, his mom will care for his fur child, LuSi. 

“I convinced my mother to come from Durban and stay in my house so she could look after my dog because I wouldn’t be able to take her with me. I want to fly out soon but I’ll just be gone for a few months,” he says.

In the meantime, he’s spending all his time bonding with his beloved pooch.

“I really enjoy jogging with LuSi or just seeing how happy she is at the dog park,” he says.
